I am in fact a little surprised that you managed to post a message on this guestbook. When we began receiving endless number of spams here I have more or less disabled any post at this site.

I am in fact in the process of re-vamping the site again and I will be installing a new Guestbook with better security features or I may just remove it all together. Next time you can email me directly.

Sorry for the string of messages from a spammer, who claimed to be from Ethiopia, but in reality can be from anywhere.

His IP address and signature has been banned, but I know that this will not necessarily stop him if he uses a proxy. So if anyone sees a repeat of such messages, please inform the Admin immediately.

Thanks for your comments Sister but with due respect to you, you need to know that the story posted here was actually taken off the official souvenir magazine which was published during the dedication of the Sacred Heart Cathedral in 1981.

The original story I was told, was taken from actual historical records and from sources which may not be in agreement with yours.

So this story stands as accurate and official in so far as that the story was approved for release by the parish and the diocese at that time and included in the souvenir magazine. If there was any mistake then it must eluded Fr. Tobias Chi (the original writer), the proof-readers and editors. I believe it is only proper that Fr. Chi be informed of this.

As it stands, the post here will remain in its original form in the way it was written by the writer. Rev Fr. Chi is of course most welcome to amend his original write-up to (maybe) make it more consistent with recent findings.

On the other hand if another person feels that he/she has a more accurate version of our history, and with the relevant research data to back up that belief, then it is only proper that the new version of the story be posted here instead.
