BINS for Donations

Parishioners are kindly reminded to place donations of above items PROPERLY at their respective bins at the SHC Compound.
  1. Used newspapers, books, magazines and other paper products are to be placed at the Wooden Recycling Bins at the basement car park.
  2. Aluminium or tin products such as cans are to be dropped at the Yellow Recycle Bin next to the staircase facing the Rectory (priests’ residence).
  3. Usable Clothing (including shoes, bags or household items) are to be deposited at the Wire-mesh Receptacle at he Rectory. Please give items that are still of use.

PLEASE REFRAIN FROM THROWING PLASTIC BOTTLES OR NON-USABLE ITEMS INTO THESE BINS.

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament: The Holy Hour at the SHC Blessed Sacrament Chapel will be from 7.30pm to 8.30pm every Tuesday of the week. Please note the changes.
Registration - Kids (Aged 4-7 Years)

Parents can register their children aged 4 to 7 years old with Kids of the Kingdom classes at St. Francis Kindergarten during Saturday Sunset Mass (6.00pm - 7.00pm) and Sunday English Mass (9.00am – 10.00am). For information, contact Ms. Jane Chia at 016-832 3710.

2nd Sunday of Lent

Introduction:In this week’s Gospel Reading through the parable Jesus tells he puts a premium on fruitfulness. He does this first by stressing the vineyard owner’s severe judgment of the fig tree that has continued to bear no figs. The vineyard owner is ready to remove the fig tree because it is totally unproductive. Secondly, he focuses on the importance of being fruitful by underscoring the vinedresser’s unusual concern and attention to try and insure the fig tree’s future productivity. Both in the vineyard owner’s judgment and the vinedresser’s care, one message comes through loud and clear; fruitfulness is essential.
