The Catholic Women's League of the Sacred Heart Cathedral Parish celebrated their 36^th anniversary on Thursday 15^th October 2007. The event started with a Mass at the Blessed Sacrament Chapel where all the members of the CWL renewed their pledge before God and the congregation of the parish community. The Mass was presided by Msgr Primus Jouil, with Fr. Michael Modoit and Fr. Wilfred Atin as con-celebrants.

The celebration continued with a dinner function at the Grand Portview Restaurant in the City center. The function was attended by some 400 people as well as His Lordship Bishop John Lee with several members of his clergy and representations from the various relegious communities from around the Diocese.

Mrs. Anita Tunggolou, the Chairperson of the CWL also introduced the new office bearers of the CWL who will be serving during the term of 2008/2009.
