[Family Issue Concurrent Session]Key areas that need attention are: - provides focus on newly wed in the Parish & create awareness on “God’s Plan for Christian Marriages”;
- promotes raising of Godly children through good parenting; imparts roles and values to family;
- provides assistance to family in crisis focusing on single parents & families with financial challenges;
- issue of homosexuality;
- Pro-Life issues, and
- the need to build better communication skills for the family.
It is noted that many Church groups/ministries are already doing good jobs in addressing many family related issues in the Parish. However, many parishioners are still unaware of their activities due to lack of publicity. Coordination and dissemination of information can be improved by taking steps: - to enhance the Parish Coordinating Committee role, and
- to list activities of the group/ministry in the Parish Master Calendar.
To reach out more effectively: - groups can take advantage and make full use of PFPN as means to disseminate their information;
- Priests to speak out and encourage parishioners during homily/announcement;

Sales at SHC and CMI Compound |

The Parish Pastoral Council has set up a Sales Committee to vet and oversee all sales of appropriate goods or merchandises within the Church compound. Beginning 1st January 2010 any group or parishioner wishing to conduct any form of sales activitiy at SHC and CMI is required to first fill up a form to be submited to this Committee. The Committee will meet on the 1st week of every month to deliberate on all submitted applications. The forms are available at the Parish/Sub-Parish Offices during office hours. The Montfort Youth Training Centre has the following vacant positions: - Student Affairs Officers based in Montfort Kinarut Boys Campus
- Nurse based in Montfort Kinarut Boys Campus
- Female Cook based in Montfort Donggongon Girls Campus
Requirements:- Interested candidates for positions (1) must have the interest to work with youth-dynamic & energetic young men preferrably who have the ability to organize and run residential programmes and willing to participate in trainees’ daily outdoor activities. Proficiency in English and in IT are required for writing reports. Required to work shifts.
- Interested candidates for position (2) must have the relevant nursing experience. Working hours are from 7.00am to 1.30pm, Mondays to Fridays.
- Interested candidates for position (3) mush have the relevant experience in planning meals, marketing and cooking for institutions.
