Formation for catechists begins this coming Wednesday, 10th March 2010 on the subject The Call and Mission of the Catechist at Room F6, SHPC at 7.30pm. This is compulsory for all catechists and is also open to parishioners who are interested in serving in the catechetical ministry. The next session will be on Wednesday, 31st March 2010 - Classroom management and teaching strategies and thereafter every 2nd & 4th Wednesdays unless otherwise notified. Talks will be in English and BM. |

The Sacred Heart Charity Group will co-organize Lenten Blood Donation drive on Sunday, 21st March 2010 from 8.00am to 1.00pm at the front of the SHPC. Anyone 18 years and above are welcome to donate. |

It has been a great blessing and grace of God to have Fr. Cantalamessa, the Preacher to the Pope and his household, in our midst recently. The 3 sessions given by Fr. Cantalamessa at the Hongkod Koisan on 31st January 2010 are now available in 1 DVD for sale at RM30.00 at the Church entrance. It is highly recommended that parishioners buy a set of these excellent teachings for further listening and for our own on-going spiritual growth. |
