Registration is open for Year 2011 (children born from 2^nd January 2004 to 1^st January 2005) and Year  2012 (children born from 2^nd Janiary 2005 to 1^st January 2006), from 1^st April 2010 to 27^th May 2010.

Volunteers are needed to assist in this ministry to prepare children for the Sacrament of Baptism every Sunday from 9.30am - 10.30am. Contact Regina Sulit at 012-8289791.

The Way of the Cross will be held regularly every Friday in the Cathedral during Lent as follows:
  English      -    6.00pm
  B.M.         -    7.00pm
  Mandarin  -    8.00pm
Please note that there will be NO 1^st Friday Mass during the Lenten Season (March & April 2010).

The Sacred Heart Cathedral  Hospitality Ministry is very much in need of dedicated and caring volunteers to serve as Wardens for the English masses. Interested parishioners please submit your names to Mr. Ignatius Sikan @ 019-5307470 or Mr. Paul Isidore @ 013-8630793.

It has been a great blessing and grace of God to have Fr. Cantalamessa, the Preacher to the Pope and his household, in our midst recently. The 3 sessions given by Fr. Cantalamessa at the Hongkod Koisan on 31^st January 2010 are now available in 1 DVD for sale at RM30.00 at the Church entrance. It is highly recommended that parishioners buy a set of these excellent teachings for further listening and for our own on-going spiritual growth.

The Lenten Appeal Envelopes are available at the Churches entrances this weekend onwards. Kindly contribute towards this Lenten Appeal for the poor and the needy of our Parish.

Way of the Cross at CMI will be held every Friday during the month of Lent starting on Friday, 26^th February 2010 at 7.00pm. It will be in English. However, for Way of the Cross on 19^th February 2010 at 6.00pm and 2^nd April 2010 at 7.00am, CMI parishioners are encouraged to join in the Station of the Cross at the Sacred Heart Cathedral.

All Church groups using the rooms in the Parish Centre are reminded to maintain the cleanliness of the rooms. Once your activities or meetings are over, kindly stack up all chairs and keep tables in orderly manner. Thank you for your kind cooperation.

Structural repair works are currently in progress at the Cathedral. Parishioners are advised to be cautious when you are at the Cathedral’s vicinity.

The Sacred Heart Cathedral Environmental Action Committee has set up an Educational Fund from the proceeds of the sales of recyclable items collected at the Parish Hall basement. This Fund is to help needy students (primary and secondary level) meet their educational needs such as transport fares, purchases of books, etc. For enquiries please contact Martina or Catherine at Tel.
